Ideals shifted celebrating the use of wine and alcohol as a blessing from the gods.

Drinking Games Aren’t New

If people truly believe that modern day college students should be accredited with the invention of drinking games, then they are sadly mistaken. The ancient Romans had their own versions of beer pong and drinking games. A common game involved consuming as many cups of alcohol as possible depending on the role of a die.

Shifting Ideals

In ancient times from the Sumerians to the Romans the ideas surrounding alcohol and moderation kept shifting. Some time periods stressed the importance of temperance and moderation while others praised the excessive use of alcohol. Prominent men were either honored for their self control or admired for the drunken decision making. Even as Christianity slowly took over the shift of wine deity worship was slow to take shape which lead to the blessing for wine and alcohol for religious purposes.

Rey is first to act and attempts to Lou Thez Press Morrison but Morrsion pushes him off and Mysterio goes flying into the turnbuckle and rolls out of the ring.Morrison goes outside the ring as well,picking Mysterio up and landing some impressive puches on Mysterio and Mysterio seemingly Crumbles to the floor.Striker comments on how this is Mysterio’s fatigue and ring rust coming through.Morrison tries to Irish Whip Mysterio into the Steel Steps but Mysterio reverses it and catapults himself onto Morrison and Successfully hits the Lou Thez Press.The crowd cheer wildly as Mysterio gains some much needed momentum.He then grabs a Ladder from Under the Ring,and takes it outside the Cell.He props the Cell door open with A Steel Chair and climbs the Ladder .He jumps at Morrison but Morrison swipes the Steel Chairs legs,causing it to fold and closing the Cell door.Mysterio hits the Door face first and rolls around on the floor in agonizing pain.Morrison re-opens the Cell door and Kicks Mysterio a few times for good measure before Climbing The Ladder.Morrison jumps to hit the Starship Pain but Mysterio moves out of the way and JoMo hits the Unforgiving floor.Both men are getting Cheers,but both seem to be motionless.Striker is Amazed at how much the crowd are cheering for them,but JR reminds him that Wrestling is NOT a Popularity contest-Its about who has the guts and the will to win,the person that can Truly Acheive Greatness.But Striker reminds JR that everything is a Popularity contest,even the Presidential/Prime M inister campaigns.Mysterio and Morrison slowly get to their feet and start trading punches,but both stay on their feet.Mysterio is about to land another punch but Morrison hits the Moonlight Drive out of Nowhere.He goes for the cover but Mysterio kicks out at two.Morrison manages to Kip-Up,but Mysterio just looks Lifeless.Striker says that Mysterio’s ring rust will be his Downfall,but JR explains that Mysterio has held his own tonight.Morrison decides it’s time to finish it.He picks up Mysterio and attempts the Moonlight Drive again,but Mysterio reverses it into a Neckbreaker.Morrison manages to get up thanks to the Announce Table.He lays Mysterio on the Announce Table and climbs up onto it.He pulls Mysterio up but Mysterio pulls of a Hurricanrana on Morrison and Morrison flies into the crowd.Mysterio prepares to jump on Morrison but Out of the Crowd A Batista catches him in Mid-Air and takes him over the Security Barrier and onto the Announce Table.He then picks Mysterio up and Batista Bombs him through the table.Batista tries to Punish Mysterio more but Eddie Guerrero runs at him and chases him back up the ramp and into Backsatge.Morrison,unaware what has just happened since he was Hurricanranaed into the crowd,Climbs back over the security barrier,climbs the Ladder and hits Starship Pain for the Win.

Striker is laughing as he says welcome back Rey,and Michael Cole is pleased that the I-C title is now RAW property.Jerry Lawler then builds more hype for the 15-man Hell In A Cell matches later on tonight,and says that lives are on the line in these matches.

Black marlin have a place in Black Marlin fishing folklore all of their own, as do blue marlin, and they have both been immortalized by writers like Ernest Hemmingway and Zane Grey. Comparing Black and Blue Marlins

Female black marlins can grow up to 15 feet long and weigh in excess of 1000 pounds. Male black marlins are, in general, much smaller and rarely exceed 300 pounds. Black marlins feed on dolphin, squid, cuttlefish, octopuses, mackerels, swordfish, and large decapod crustaceans, but prefer small tuna when abundant. Research and stomach analysis show that these fish use their long, sharp bills to slash their prey.

I’ve read somewhere that managers and executives don’t really have rights that hourly employees do. If the salary executives are made to work 8+ hours a day 6 days a week they must without any kind of compensation. Doesn’t seem right. Could someone please clarify this for me and or send me a link so I can print it out. This applies to California. Thanks in advance.

how someone is paid hourly, salary, commission or piece rate is irrelevant what matters is their “exempt status”……..
many employees are paid a salary and still receive overtime when they work in excess of 40 hours because they are NOT exempt from the laws……..
those who are exempt are generally very well compensated for their time and receive other benefits such as being paid even if they miss part of a days work……..

generally a salaried “executive” would be exempt and as such they are NOT entitled to overtime .

1 Cucumber (cut it into half or quarter)
2 stalks Celery
2 Apples
3 slices of Ginger (Optional)

Put all the vege into a juicer to sequeeze and serve immediately

< <<<<< Cucumber garlic salad >>>>>>>>>

4 cucumbers
2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
2 teaspoon salt (for massage)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
some roasted white sesame

1) Put the cucumbers into a plastic bag with salt, massage the cucumber for a while, set a side for 5 min
2) Wash the salt away, cut the cucumbers in 1.5 inches long or in big cubes, put them in a salad bowl
3) Mix the vinegar, sugar, salt, sesame oil in a dressing bowl then mix the cucumbers with the garlic
4) Sprinkle the roasted sesame before you serve

cucumber (sliced 3 – 4 inches in length with about 3 mm thick)
150 g cream cheese
1 mango (chopped)
2 tablespoon of sour cream

3) Put the cucumber slices on the mixture, sandwich it with another piece of bread

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated gruyere cheese
salt
black pepper (optional)

1) Put the basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, salt, EV olive oil into the blender, blend into paste
2) Boiled the Spaghetti with a pinch of salt in a large pot, drained and cool a bit
3) Mix the Spaghetti with the basil paste, parmesan cheese, cucumber, black olive in a big bowl

Option for 3) If you like it to be served warm, you can heat a frying pan with low heat, add some olive oil in the pan and mix the spaghetti with the parmesan cheese is slightly melted, turn off the heat, serve the spaghetti in a big bowl wait a big when it get cooler, then mix it well with cucumber and black olive

4) Sprinkle the freshly grated gruyere cheese and black pepper on top when serve

(if you like seafood, you may add boiled prawns and mix it into your pasta)

400 g cucumber (chopped)
50 g mint / peppermint (finely chopped)
100 g icing sugar
350 cc fresh cream
1 fresh lime juice
1 zest of lime
honey (optional)

Put all the ingredients (execpt the fresh cream) into a blender, blend well, then add the fresh cream into the mixture and blend till it is smooth (do not blend the mixture too hard)

Pour the mixture into an ice-cream maker, follow the instruction of your machine. Chill for a day or so.

If you do not have an ice-cream maker, use lime sorbert instead of fresh cream, omit the lime juice but mix the cucumber / peppermint puree well with lime sorbert + lime zest and chill for a few hours

salt
black pepper (freshly grounded)

Salad Dressing :

1/2 lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
2 tablespoon of extra vrigin Olive oil
3 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

1) Wash the scallops, boil some water in a sauce pan and put the scallops into the hot water to wash for 2 or 3 seconds, drain and try well. Marinate the scallops with 2 tablespoon of white wine and some salt for 10 minutes (drain and set aside)
2) Heat a frying pan with high heat, add 2 tablespoon of olive oil into the pan, stir fry the scallop quickly for 30 seconds or 1 minute (depends on how hot your stove is), add 2 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar into the pan and stir fry quickly for another till the scallops are cooked (thicken the sauce!), do not over cooked them.
3) Mix the cucumber / lettuce leaves with salad dressing in a salad bowl then pour it on the plate
4) Put the scallops on top of the salad then granish it with cherry tomatoes
5) Add black pepper when serve (optional)
