Baby Ashton Appeal

BPP 2009: Blakedown's Got Talent!

Last night was the final show of our summer production: Blakedown's Got Talent. :-(

What a show! You brought the house down!

Well done to everybody - you all had a really important role to play, on stage and off.

I'm really proud of the way we produce our shows - everyone has an important role.

• Front of House Team: Organised Ticket Sales; Promotion; Contacted Businesses for Raffle Prizes; Managed the Guests and looked after the cast at the interval.
• Props, Costume and Makeup: Created and collated the Props; made sure props were ready on stage at the right time; madeup the cast and sorted costumes.
• BGT: Behind the Scenes: Photographed, recorded, logged the show from the start to the end; Production of the programme
• Techie Crew: Set up and tear down of the stage, sounds equipment and lights; managed the sound and light levels during the shows; trouble shooted during the performance.
• Actors: You know what you did!

Without the production crew, this show wouldn't have happened - Thank You!

It's not just the children who worked hard:

• Mr Hanson: Wrote the script, and basically helped every group out at some point during the last few weeks.
• Mrs Chatwin: Organised the live music and also managed to find herself helping every group out.
• Mr Tombs (Liam!): Produced the commercials at half time and the amazing lipsync at the end!
• Miss Round: Organised the archiving of the show and produced the programme.
• Mrs Tromans: Organised the Front of House team and made the show run so slick!
• Mrs Sullivan: Organised the makeup, props and costumes - no mean feat!

Have a good weekend - we still have one more week to go - the DVD will hopefully be out by the end of term!
