Good Luck to Year 6

Good Luck year 6 for the upcoming week - you've all worked really hard, so your tests shouldn't be a problem. Remember: Lots of rest; eat breakfast; bed early; breathing exercises!

A question from America...

What are the SAT's that you guys take?

Hello Mr Austin
SATS are tests that we have to do in May. The tests are taken over a week and there are nine altogether: 2 science tests, 3 maths tests and 4 english tests. We take these tests at the end of Key Stage 2 before we go to high school, this is to put us into groups of abilties. There has been a lot of debate about these tests as they can be quite stressful and take a lot of time to prepare for them. I hope this answers your questions. Please ask if you have any more.

We have the MEAP test that our students take. Students in grades 3-12 take the MEAP test. MEAP stands for Michigan Education Assessment Program. We take them in October. It tets on everything we learned the year before and all the grades before that. The worst part is the beginning of the year getting the students ready for it. It's boring for us and them!
