World Maths Day!

Maths Challenge time!

Which two digit number has the highest number of factors?

Which three digit number has the highest number of factors?

36 has 9 factors (including 1 and 36) the sum of 3 and 6 is 9. Is this a patern or just a coincidence?

I think the two digit number is 60 and the three digit number is 100 because they have both in a lot of times tables. I think there is a patern in 36.

I liked going on the world maths day site it was really fun. There was a mixture of sums some were easy and some were hard but making our characters and buying stuff for them was even better.
I got to compeat against other schools in other countreys.

I've lost count of how many countries I've played. It is a fun way to learn, it teaches you how to type fast and more importantly multiplication, division, adding and taking away. It is a brilliant website and it would encourage children to like maths more (impossible). But it finishes on the 16th MARCH!!!!
