Last week class 1 were really lucky to have a visit from several children from classes 3 and 4. They had come to share books with the younger children. First the older children chose a book, and then it was the turn of the younger children to choose. Everyone agreed it had been a great success, so we are hoping to make shared reading a regular feature in class 1 in the coming weeks. A big thank you to all the children from Key Stage 2 who took part.

Reading to the little ones looks like fun. I hope the people who were reading to the little ones enjoyed their activity. The little ones must have liked being read to looking at their faces. The reading system in this group looks really good because the big one shares a book and the little one shares one too. It would be nice to read to the little kids because you are doing a different thing. I think i would like to read to the little kids in class 1 and 2. It would be nice for a change.

On thursday we're going to Class 1 and Class 2. I think it is a really good idea because the children will learn from us reading books to them and it's nice to know that you have helped them learn. It will be fun going down and reading to them. IT ALSO GETS US OUT OF WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took part in this activity on thursday in first part of the morning in LFLA. I thought it was a good thing to do in riverting reads for a change instead of sorting out the libary. I think that when we came in the classroom the little ones didn't know what we were doing in there. Also they enjoyed the books what we chose to read first.
