In class 4 four people were chosen to enter a competition: Joya, Amelia, Jonathan and Calum. This was sponsered by "apple" the topic was based around "Making the world a better place". We Blakedown were also chosen to host the competition. What we had to do was make a video. We were lent 1 apple mac and some iBooks from apple. We had three other schools come to us: Bayton, Wolverly and Upper Arley. We planned our video really well and were ahead of the other schools. We decided to call our video "Small act Big impact". We acted our scenes well too. What we had to face now was the editing stage this was crucial and we didn't do very well. We were given another half day to finish it and finally we got our heads down and got on with it. Then we were invited to the Digital awards ceromony. We put together a presentation and showed our video and everybody thought it was really good.

I was really impressed with the way that the children interpreted the challenge given to them. Their video was simple but effective and the title reflected the content. I accompanied Jonathan to the presentation and was very proud of him. All the children contributed to a wonderful presentation - I really liked the way that they showed the difficulties and how these were overcome. All were a great credit to Blakedown School and the teachers involved. Well done!

I think that those four worked really hard on the video.When i watched the video in class i thought they put a lot of effort in to it because it was really good.

I think it sounds really hard and they did very well in the time given. I like the title a lot ; the approach to the whole contest.

I really enjoyed doing this it was really exiting
I thought it was really hard 'cause when we were flming it kept going wrong and sometimes we kept laughing when we wern't supposed. But in the end our film turned out alright.

Amelia,Joya,Calum and johnathan did really well because I dont think i would of been able to do that. Also when they did the presentation they were really brave in front of teachers and head teachers. At the end when the film was finished it was really cool.

I think that it is really honest of them to show that they did do some things wronge but then it worked out ok. Also i think it really tells you the message so i hope in the futer people will respond to that
