I know a lot of our past pupils read the blog so I thought posting a picture of my new daughter would let people know what had happened + I also wanted to show her off!

Groovy Greeks

We are finding out about the Ancient Greeks. We have looked at the Olympics, finding out what sports they did, what they had to wear and what order they did the olympic games in. We also found out that the Athenians and Spartans fought, and the boys that went to school to learn how to do fighting and what the girls did at home. Soon we are going to make masks in our art and put on a play.

Cool Cross Country

In our school hall we are having some building work to make more space. Unfortunately we can not do indoor P.E and we can't do much out side because we can't reach the equiptment. At the start of term we did abit of cross country. We had to run ten laps around are school field and see what our timing was. We are thinking of doing some cross country races later on in the term.

We're back!

Welcome back to our blog. Lots and lots of things have happened since we've been back at school hence the lack of posts: We've had some building work going on - again, and we seem to be part of lots of projects that take up my time.

There are going to be some changes to blogging this year. I'm hoping that all classes will have the opportunity to blog and contribute to our window on the web. But for the moment it's going to be children and staff (hopefully) from Keystage 2.

Shakespeare!

In literacy we are learning about shakespeare. The Play we are focusing on is Macbeth. Its about a general that kills the king to take the thrown of the city.It's a cool play I wonder about what is going to happen...I'll let you know.

Fun Art

In art we are doing some fun stuff. It is a play about The Siege Of Troy we are making helmets and swords, armour, and the girls clothing. Its all going to make a play, it may take a while to do but it will be fun. Some of us will make team will make one thing to make it faster, and another team will make a other bit of armour or sword. When we are finished making the one, we will go on to the other persons stuff. We will use carbored, ballons, paper, glue, and many more stuff to make this masive project. It will be fun making a film and then we will have a nice day watching it.
